Yesterday it was a soggy wedding ceremony with Kirsty and Matt over at Fritton before heading to Southwood for the reception. What a day!!!
Kirsty & Matt laughed in the face of the weather and we proceeded to take pictures in the rain. Awesome! I’ve seen Kirsty thank Southwood for the amazing food on facebook already – it’s no exaggeration. It was the BEST most tasty food I’ve ever had at a wedding ever ever. I’ve taken lots of nice arty pics of the grub but my plate before and after (2mins 28secs) tells it all.
I described shooting a wedding at Southwood like playing a home football match. It’s probably more like playing a home football match with the referee on your side plus 10 extra players. I can’t emphasise enough how much theses guys bend over backwards to make the day for the bride and grooms day extra special. I like love working with people that care, and won’t apologise for recommending them every chance I get. The Barmy crew pictured below in the photobooth.
I sent Matt and Kirsty a couple of pics to look at first thing this morning and I’ve decided to use this one below for their teaser shot. More pictures will follow once Matt & Kirsty are home, tanned, and have viewed images for themselves first.
